There are plenty of great areas for spectating, so we've compiled what we think are the best spots for cheering on your loved ones.
At about 2.5 miles in, this location is on an industrial estate and the entrants from here will hit the Trans Pennine Trail (TPT). You'll be able to see the athletes arrive and watch them for a period along the TPT. If you walk along the TPT, you'll get a good spot to watch them approach and bound onwards!
Pretty much 17 miles in, dependent upon where you park, you'll be able to see the participants for a good period. If you drive into the Country Park, please be aware that there is an entry cost for vehicles of £1 per hour (please check at http://www.rvcp.co.uk). There is a cafe, lake, wildlife and kids activities, so a good spot for the family.
This is a hamlet to the South of Sheffield, about 22 miles in to the event. Spectators can walk towards The Moss, a Site of Special Scientific Interest or pop in to the Bridge Inn for a drink.
Probably the best place on the entire route. Superb view down Burbage South Valley to watch entrants approach for quite some time, not to mention heading off towards Stanage Edge.
You might also be able to grab an Ice Cream if the van is there!
Bradfield is a quintessentially British village, with a cricket ground in the heart of the village. There are local pubs and tea rooms, so spectators can hydrate whilst watching athletes descend Mill Lee Road! Alternatively, spectators positioning themselves at St Nicholas' Church, High Bradfield will be rewarded with some stunning views. Please be mindful of local residents when parking.
We have some great feed stations, which are always a favourite spot for spectators. We don't want to discourage anyone from attending albeit spectators won't be allowed in the feed station, as we need to be respectful of Covid. Spectators are asked to be respectful when parking, as each feed station is in a residential area.
